DEPARTMENT: Claims
REPORTS TO: Customer Care Supervisor
STATUS: Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE: M-F 8-5

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college preferred with a desire to grow within the company
  • Computer literacy; familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • 1+ year of general business/office experience
  • Must be able to type 45 WPM

JOB SUMMARY:
  • Opening and scanning of daily claims mail by program/state, mail indexing (scanned, email, faxes)
  • Preparation of outgoing mail by sort/bulk/special handling, express delivery preparation, document management/recorded media and archived file retrieval/filing
  • Transfer of media to document management system
  • Data entry of agent/insured contact information into back-end system, detail claim information data entry, yearly loss report distribution
  • Metering of mail, mail drop off, bulk mailings/notices to policyholder/agent
  • Provides coverage for all deliveries to Midwest
  • Other duties as assigned.
